Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) is the gold standard in education for prehospital medical assessment and treatment, developed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and endorsed by the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP). Through realistic case-based scenarios and interactive group discussions, participants learn to apply the AMLS Assessment Pathway — a systematic approach to assessing and managing common medical emergencies, including respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, and toxicological conditions.

The course is suitable for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, and physicians involved in acute care. It is particularly recommended by UPEC Singapore for paramedics who aspire to advance their clinical practice, and is recognised as an accredited course for Prehospital Emergency Care (PEC) Continuing Education (CE) in Singapore.
