- Providing Accessible Training and Education in First Aid
St John Association is the training wing of St John Singapore. Established in 1885, it is also the oldest component of the St John movement in Singapore, and the oldest First Aid education establishment in Singapore.
We provide training in First Aid, Home Nursing, Child Care, and other related subjects to the public, students, corporates, workers, and other interested individuals or groups.
The Association also organises different courses in both English and Mandarin to cater to your personal or occupational needs. Courses range from half-day programmes like the CPR+AED Course, to 5 half-day programmes like the Adult First Aid Course. We are also happy to accommodate to your group or company’s learning needs. You can find out more about under our courses.
The Association also certifies First Aid, Home Nursing, and Life Support courses organised for members of the St John Brigade.
We welcome healthcare professionals, certified First Aid Lecturers and Life Support Instructors to join us in our ranks.

- You can Make the Difference Between Life and Death
First Aid emergencies can occur anywhere, to anyone. When a cardiac arrest occurs, for example, you only have 4 minutes to react before brain damage occurs. While many Singaporeans may be inclined to wait for the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) to arrive, oftentimes it may be too late.
That’s why it is important to learn First Aid, so that you can render assistance, comfort, and support to those in need before medical assistance arrives. Any citizen can become a confident First Aid provider. By becoming a certified First Aider, you can help to save lives before the arrival of an ambulance and/or a medical staff. Life is precious!
