First Aid Lecturer

Do you possess a Higher First Aid certificate or equivalent? Or are you a certified First Aid lecturer in other First Aid training centres? Join us in St John Association or St John Brigade as a First Aid lecturer!

Life Support Instructor

Brigade Medical Officer

Are you a doctor registered with the Singapore Medical Council? Join us in St John Brigade as a Medical Officer!

As a Medical Officer, you are the fount of First Aid knowledge in the Brigade. You will render assistance to your appointed District or the National Headquarters, in maintaining the First Aid proficiency of its members through syllabus setting, annual First Aid examinations, organising First Aid competitions etc. In addition, you may also volunteer to assist at all our First Aid Public Duties and offer on-the-job training to our members.

As a uniformed volunteer, you will come under the command of the Chief Medical Officer and your respective District Medical Officers. You will be entitled to the privileges and benefits which come with membership in the Brigade, including periodic promotions and commendations.

Brigade Nursing Officer

Are you a nurse registered with the Singapore Nursing Board? Join us in St John Brigade as a Nursing Officer!

As a Nursing Officer, you are the fount of Home Nursing knowledge in the Brigade. You will render assistance to your appointed District or the National Headquarters, in maintaining the Home Nursing proficiency of its members through syllabus setting, annual Home Nursing examinations, organising Home Nursing component in competitions etc. In addition, you may also volunteer to assist at all our Public Duties, share knowledge and offer on-the-job training to our members who would be attached to Government Hospitals on Hospital Attachment Programmes (HAP).

As a uniformed volunteer, you will come under the command of the Chief Nursing Officer and your respective District Nursing Officers. You will be entitled to the privileges and benefits which come with membership in the Brigade, including periodic promotions and commendations.

St John Responder Unit (SJRU)

The St John Responder Unit is the main operational unit of the Brigade. It heads all the large-scale First Aid Public Duties of the Brigade while employing the support of other Adult and Cadet members.

The Unit seeks the assistance of doctors, Registered Nurses, Paramedics, and EMTs for their medical knowledge, as well as operational expertise in ambulance crewing and driving.
As a uniformed volunteer, you will come under the command of the Commander, SJRU. You will be entitled to the privileges and benefits which come with membership in the Brigade, including periodic promotions and commendations.
